Mindful Outdoor Experience

At Jean Zaniewski’s. Join us as Susan Novice shares her skills as a leader in this outdoor activity which provides an opportunity to slow down and unwind.

Shinrin-Yoku, or immersing one’s self in the forest, started in Japan in the 1980’s. Forest bathing has been found to have both physical and mental health benefits.

Participants are guided through mindful breathing, movements and walking. They are guided to open all their senses through a series of invitations, bringing awareness to the present moment and connecting with the natural world in new ways.

This program will run, weather permitting. Please bring a towel, mat or a light portable chair.
