Planting perennials

Site cleared by DPW, ready for planting

The traffic circle on the Providence bound side of the train station needed a face lift. The photos on the left show the poor condition of the traffic circle: top, the area prior to replanting and, bottom, the circle after the site was cleared by the DPW. Our April Gardening Forum helped raise funds for this project, and in May we were able to replant the circle.

We will continue to maintain this area in the future, adding shrubs, bulbs, weeding and watering, and mulching in the Spring. Help us make Sharon a beautiful place to live by donating below.

Planting daffodil bulbs

Prior to replanting

Before DPW cleared site, ready for planting

The Sharon Garden Club is always busy! We maintain the raised beds outside Angel's Cafe and the public walkway by the First Baptist Church. Every year we encourage residents to buy and plant daffodil bulbs in our annual daffodil bulb sale. Interested becoming a member?
